Built for sales teams that still edit quotes in Google Docs
Pro quotes that read your product catalog, respect the discount matrix, and ship with a signature block that is not pasted on top.
A professional quote is three things at once. A document the buyer feels confident signing. A record the CRM can roll up into forecast math. And an approval artifact the CFO can audit. Strkr builds all three from one object so the rep stops rebuilding the same spreadsheet every Thursday afternoon.
Buyers typing "pro quote" into Google in 2026 fall into two camps. One camp runs a quoting workflow in Google Docs or Word plus an inbox back-and-forth, which produces documents that look professional until the fifth revision asks for a discount override and nobody remembers who approved what. The other camp bought PandaDoc or Proposify as a point tool, loves the editor, and then fights the sync between the quote tool and the CRM every quarter close. Both camps are tired of the same thing: the quote should be a first-class CRM object, not a PDF living in a shared drive, and the approval chain should sit in the same place the deal does. The five pains below are the ones that drive teams to consolidate quoting into the CRM instead of running it as a side tool.
Catalog drift
The quote line items disagree with the price list.
A rep builds a quote on Monday with last quarter prices because the product sheet lived in Google Docs and the January update never propagated. The CFO catches the three percent gap during the Thursday pipeline review. Strkr quotes pull from the live product catalog with a last-updated timestamp on every SKU, so the Monday quote carries the January price and the Thursday review is spent on strategy instead of catalog archaeology.
Discount approval opacity
Nobody can audit who approved the 22 percent discount.
A quote carries a 22 percent discount. Finance asks who approved it in week six. The paper trail is three Slack messages, two Zoom clips, and a verbal note from a sales manager who has since left. Strkr runs discount thresholds through a typed approval chain. The 22 percent request routes to the regional VP, logs the approval or denial with timestamp and comment, and attaches the record to the quote object permanently.
E-signature glue tax
DocuSign and the CRM speak different languages about status.
The quote lands in DocuSign. The buyer signs. The signed PDF comes back as an email attachment that someone has to upload to the right opportunity. The CRM status stays stuck on "sent" because the webhook never fired. Strkr integrates with DocuSign and PandaDoc natively, with signature status flowing back onto the opportunity record and triggering flow steps (close-won, provisioning task, invoicing hand-off) without a human in the loop.
Version hell on revision 7
The sixth round of edits leaves two parallel PDFs floating.
A quote goes through five rounds of edits. By round six, there are two PDFs living in two Google Drive folders with similar names, and the version the buyer references is not the version the CRM shows. Strkr versions every quote in place with a visible revision history, so the buyer and the rep always reference the same canonical version and the earlier revisions are archived rather than deleted.
Tax and shipping guesswork
The sales ops lead manually adds Washington state tax.
A quote going to a Washington buyer needs state tax computed. The rep estimates eight percent, the finance team recalculates at ten point one, the revised invoice looks different from the quote the buyer signed. Strkr pulls tax from the tenant tax engine (Stripe Tax or Avalara where connected), so the quote shows the same tax basis the invoice will carry. Shipping terms follow the same model with configurable rate tables per region.
Brand drift across the sales team
Three reps have three slightly different template fonts.
Reps who build quotes in Word end up with three slightly different fonts, two header styles, and a logo at four different sizes depending on who copied which template last. Strkr renders every quote through one tenant-level template with the logo, color palette, typography, and legal footer locked at the brand level. The rep configures the line items; the branding is handled upstream.
What Strkr pro quotes do on day one
A quote that is a CRM object, not a PDF in a drive folder.
The capability cards below are the operational pieces that make Strkr quotes feel professional without the glue code. Each piece is on every paid tier, so the SMB team gets the same approval chain the mid-market team gets, just with simpler thresholds configured.
Line items from the catalog
Products pulled with live price and currency.
The rep opens a quote inside the opportunity. Line items come from the product catalog with the live price, SKU, description, and currency. The rep adds quantity, applies a per-line discount within policy, and the quote total updates in place. The buyer sees the same product names and SKUs that will appear on the invoice when the deal closes.
Approval chain by threshold
Discount routing that respects the deal matrix.
Discounts route through a typed approval chain configured per tenant. Zero to ten percent clears automatically. Ten to twenty percent routes to the first-line manager. Twenty to thirty percent routes to the regional VP. Thirty plus routes to the CRO or CFO. The chain is visible on the quote object and the approval history is permanent audit evidence.
Branded PDF rendering
One template, locked at the tenant level.
The quote renders through one tenant-level template with logo, color palette, typography, legal footer, and header image set once by the admin. The rep configures line items and signer blocks; the layout is produced by Strkr. Font substitution, logo sizing, and page break logic are handled server-side so the output is identical whether the rep is on Windows, macOS, or iPad.
Inline e-signature
DocuSign or PandaDoc with status roundtrip.
The rep clicks send-for-signature. Strkr routes the quote through the connected DocuSign or PandaDoc tenant, captures signer identity, binds the signed PDF back to the opportunity, and updates the quote status to signed. Flow triggers on signature event can advance the stage, create provisioning tasks, kick off invoicing, or notify finance in one atomic transition.
Revision history
Every version stored, every change visible.
Every edit to a quote lives in a visible revision history on the quote object. The buyer and the rep always reference the latest canonical version through one shareable link. Earlier revisions are archived rather than deleted, so the deal review in week eight can retrace which discount concession was offered in week three and whether it was approved properly.
Tax computation hook
Stripe Tax or Avalara on the same basis as the invoice.
Tax computes against the connected tax engine using buyer address, shipping address, and product tax codes. Stripe Tax is the default for US buyers; Avalara is wired for teams with existing contracts. The tax basis on the quote matches the basis the invoice will carry, so the buyer sees no surprise line between signature and first invoice.
Multi-currency support
EUR, GBP, CAD, AUD quotes with locked FX.
A quote in euros carries a locked FX rate captured at quote creation, so the pound-to-dollar move between quote and signature does not create an invoice gap. The rep selects the currency on quote creation; downstream the invoice issues in the quoted currency and the forecast rolls up at the locked rate until signature closes it in.
Legal clause library
MSAs, SLAs, and payment terms from a shared library.
Legal clauses live in a shared tenant library. The rep selects applicable clauses on the quote (MSA reference, SLA tier, payment terms, early-pay discount, auto-renewal) rather than retyping language. The library is admin-controlled so legal review happens once per clause, not once per quote.
Quote-to-invoice handoff
Close-won fires the invoicing step automatically.
When the signed quote lands and the opportunity moves to close-won, a flow trigger creates the Stripe invoice (or hands to the connected accounting system) with the quoted line items, taxes, and terms. Finance opens the morning queue with the new invoice ready to review rather than a pile of signed PDFs awaiting manual entry.
What a pro-quote buyer evaluates on
The real checklist in 2026.
Most "best quote software" comparison articles rank by editor polish, which is table stakes now. The real buying decision is whether the quote lives on the CRM record and whether the approval chain is auditable, both of which are structural choices the vendor makes early and cannot patch later.
Catalog source of truth
Where does the price actually come from.
Ask every vendor whether the quote reads from the CRM product catalog on open or from a cached snapshot. The snapshot-based tools drift the moment the catalog is updated. Strkr reads live on every quote open and shows a last-updated timestamp on each SKU, so the rep sees the current price without a sync job.
Approval chain depth
Multi-tier discount routing with audit trail.
Entry-level quote tools ship a single approver per discount threshold. Enterprise motion requires three or four tiers with regional variance. Strkr supports per-region, per-product, and per-size approval chains on every paid tier, with the full approval history pinned to the quote object.
Signature integration posture
Native glue versus a webhook hopes-and-prayers.
A proper DocuSign or PandaDoc integration surfaces signer status back onto the CRM record in near real time and triggers downstream flow steps on signature event. Several quote tools claim integration but rely on an inbound webhook the admin has to debug when it drops. Strkr runs the integration on a managed consumer with retry logic and visible delivery status.
Branding lock
Can the rep accidentally publish an off-brand quote.
In Word-based motions, every rep can tweak fonts and logos. Strkr locks the branding at the tenant template level so the rep cannot ship an off-brand quote even if they try. The brand team configures once; the sales team never thinks about it. The quote lands on the buyer looking like it came from one company.
Forecast roll-up fidelity
Quote total feeds pipeline math automatically.
The quote total should flow into the opportunity amount and roll up to the forecast without a manual sync. Strkr binds the two by default, so a revision that drops the deal from 42k to 38k updates the forecast line the same hour. Several quote tools require an admin flow to keep the two numbers aligned.
Pricing posture
Per-quote metering vs flat per-seat.
PandaDoc and Proposify meter quotes above tier allocations. Strkr includes unlimited quotes on every paid tier below plan cap, so the team can send ten or ten thousand with no credit meter. The buyer who runs a high-velocity motion with hundreds of quotes a month will see the biggest cost delta on this line.
What Strkr quotes will not do
the limits.
Any vendor that will not tell you where the product falls short is leaving the deployment problem for your team to discover. The list below is what Strkr quotes do not do today, in several cases why we chose not to ship it rather than when we will.
No full contract authoring
MSA drafting is a different problem.
Strkr quotes handle commercial terms (price, discount, payment, SLA tier, auto-renewal). For net-new MSA drafting with clause-level negotiation and redline tracking, Strkr integrates with PandaDoc and DocuSign CLM where the native CLM primitives live. The quote and the contract are different documents in Strkr; both link back to the opportunity.
No advanced CPQ configuration
Rule-heavy product bundles still want Conga or Salesforce CPQ.
For teams with product configurators that require 50-plus rules (manufacturing-grade CPQ with dependency chains, exclusion rules, bundled discount matrices), a specialist CPQ tool is still deeper. Strkr handles tiered pricing, volume discounts, bundle discounts, and product dependencies, which covers the SaaS, services, and SMB-to-mid-market product motions cleanly.
No invoicing without connected accounting
Stripe or an accounting integration is required.
Strkr does not run its own invoicing or ledger. The quote-to-invoice handoff fires against Stripe (default) or against a connected accounting system (QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite via native integration). Teams running on a disconnected accounting workflow should wire the integration before relying on the automated handoff.
No multi-tier reseller logic
Channel pricing is a Phase 2 roadmap item.
Teams with a reseller channel that needs partner-specific pricing, deal registration, and co-sell approval flows are better served by a Partner Relationship Management specialist for now. Strkr quotes handle direct-sales and single-tier reseller motions cleanly; multi-tier channel is on the roadmap.
No automatic translation
Multi-language quotes still require admin templates.
For a team quoting in English, French, and German, the admin configures three localized templates and selects on quote creation. Strkr does not currently auto-translate quote body copy. The product supports Unicode cleanly and renders RTL layouts correctly, which handles the mechanical side of international quoting.
No ERP two-way sync
SAP or Oracle ERP integration is custom.
Native integration to Stripe, QuickBooks, Xero, and NetSuite ships out of the box. Teams on SAP or Oracle ERP typically connect via a middleware layer (Workato, Mulesoft) or a custom integration built against the Strkr open API. The flow is well-trodden but not a one-click toggle.
Head-to-head
Strkr pro quotes vs PandaDoc for the SaaS mid-market motion.
PandaDoc is the most-named point tool in quote-tool shortlists, with Proposify and DocuSign CLM as the common alternatives. Here is the head-to-head when the buyer is choosing between a point tool bolted onto an existing CRM and quotes living inside the CRM.

How teams use Strkr
How teams run pro quotes in Strkr today.
The thread across customers that consolidate quoting into Strkr is the same one: they wanted the quote on the deal record, with approval history visible and the invoice handoff automatic. The playbooks below are motions live right now on customer accounts.
Series B SaaS, 24-rep team
Quote turnaround cut from four days to under four hours.
A 24-rep Series B SaaS was running quotes in Google Docs with manual DocuSign routing. Average quote-to-signature was four days with roughly 18 percent of quotes requiring a discount override that stalled on verbal approvals. After moving to Strkr quotes with the typed approval chain and native DocuSign integration, the average cycle dropped to under four hours and the discount override backlog cleared completely because the approval request lands in the manager inbox the moment the rep clicks submit.
Agency, 40 retainer clients
Scope-change quotes shipped during the client call.
A 12-AM agency builds mid-engagement scope-change quotes during the client call. The AM pulls the retainer template, adjusts line items for the added scope, applies the standard retainer-expansion discount, and sends-for-signature while the call is still open. Average scope-change close went from a week to the same day, which recovered roughly nine percent of expansion revenue that had previously been lost to momentum decay during multi-day quote back-and-forth.
High-velocity SMB, 18 reps
Three hundred quotes a month with no credit meter.
An 18-rep SMB team runs a high-velocity motion with roughly 300 quotes a month, most under 10k dollars. On PandaDoc the credit meter was the second-largest line on the invoice after the CRM. Strkr runs unlimited quotes on the flat per-seat line, which saved the team roughly 2,400 dollars a month and removed the quarterly conversation about whether reps were sending too many quotes to clear the credit allocation.
Mid-market B2B, 60 reps across 4 regions
Regional approval chain for US, UK, DACH, APAC.
A 60-rep mid-market B2B team runs four regions with different discount matrices. The US region approves to 25 percent at the first-line manager; the DACH region holds at 15 percent and routes higher discounts to the regional MD; APAC runs its own commission structure that affects the discount floor. Strkr configures four parallel approval chains per region with per-product variance, so every rep sees the same quote experience and the regional policies ride on top transparently.
Professional services firm, 30 consultants
Statement-of-work quotes with locked clause library.
A 30-consultant professional-services firm issues statement-of-work quotes with heavy legal language. The firm maintains a legal clause library in Strkr with 24 canonical clauses (payment terms, IP ownership, non-compete scope, confidentiality, warranty disclaimer, limitation of liability). Consultants select applicable clauses on the quote; legal review happens once per clause, not once per SOW. The legal team recovered roughly seven hours a week previously spent redlining the same five clauses on every engagement.
Pro quotes that live on the deal, not in a drive folder.
Start a 14-day trial with the product catalog, approval chain, DocuSign and PandaDoc integrations, Stripe Tax, and quote-to-invoice flow enabled. Build a quote from a real opportunity in under five minutes and see the approval chain fire.
Does Strkr replace PandaDoc or Proposify for a sales team on them today?
For teams that run quotes as the primary document type and want the quote living on the CRM record with the approval chain visible, Strkr is a complete replacement. For teams that use PandaDoc or Proposify heavily for net-new MSA drafting, long-form proposals, or marketing collateral authoring, the specialist editor is still deeper and worth keeping. The clean split is: Strkr for commercial quotes with line items and signature, PandaDoc or similar for net-new contract authoring where the editor experience is the primary job.
How does the approval chain actually work for discount routing?
The admin configures discount thresholds per region, per product, and per deal size. When a rep applies a discount that crosses a threshold, Strkr routes the approval request to the designated approver with the quote, the opportunity context, and a comment field. The approver clicks approve or deny inline with an optional note. The approval history pins to the quote object permanently and the audit log carries the full chain. If the approver is OOO, the chain escalates to the configured backup after the configured hold time.
What happens to the quote total when the opportunity changes stage?
The quote total binds to the opportunity amount by default, so a revision that changes the quote also updates the opportunity line that rolls up to forecast. On stage advancement, the forecast reflects the current quote total. On close-won, the quote total locks and the invoice issues against the locked number. On close-lost, the quote archives with its last total intact for retrospective review.
Does Strkr support multi-currency quotes with locked FX rates?
Yes. On quote creation, the rep selects the quote currency. Strkr captures the FX rate at that moment and locks it on the quote. The forecast rolls up at the locked rate until signature closes the deal in that currency; the invoice issues in the quoted currency; the GL entry in Strkr reflects the quoted currency with the locked FX for conversion reporting. All on every paid tier below plan cap.
How does Strkr handle sales tax on quotes going to US buyers?
Strkr connects to Stripe Tax by default for US buyers, with Avalara available for teams with existing contracts. The tax engine computes against the buyer address, shipping address, and product tax codes defined on the product catalog. The quote shows the same tax basis the invoice will carry, so the buyer sees no gap between quote and first bill. For non-US jurisdictions, the engine covers EU VAT (via Stripe Tax), UK VAT, and Canadian GST or HST natively.
What does pro quoting cost on top of Strkr?
Nothing on top. Pro quoting is included on every paid Strkr tier with no per-quote credit meter below plan cap. The pricing is the same per-seat line as the rest of Strkr. For a 20-rep team that runs 500 quotes a month on PandaDoc at a Business tier plus-per-user cost, the comparable Strkr all-in cost is usually 25 to 40 percent lower, with the biggest savings coming from eliminating the per-quote tier gating that creeps up as volume grows.
No sales call, no migration consultant, no four-month implementation. Enter your card, get 14 days of the full Pro tier, cancel any time before day 14 with zero charge. Spin up a workspace, import your CSV, and have something useful before lunch.
