Alternatives · kvCORE

The kvCORE alternatives guide for teams that outgrew the real-estate bundle.

kvCORE is a well-known real-estate team platform with a real IDX site and a baked-in lead-gen motion. Strkr is the better fit the moment your team scales past the bundle, wants transparent flat per-seat pricing, needs to model transactions, listings, and vendors as first-class custom objects, or has to run compliant SMS at team volume without rolling your own A2P 10DLC registration.

Why buyers are here

Why teams come looking for kvCORE alternatives.

Buyers searching for kvCORE alternatives usually arrive with a story that goes like this. The IDX site and the initial lead-gen package made sense in year one, the team grew past five agents, the per-month invoice crept past $500 and kept climbing with upsells, and the shape of what the brokerage actually needs the system to do stretched past what kvCORE was designed around. These are the six reasons we hear most often from teams running the switch evaluation.

Opaque team pricing

The invoice keeps growing and you cannot see why.

kvCORE is sold through brokerage bundles with pricing that varies by package, by seat count, by number of IDX sites, by whether CORE Present, CORE Home, or CORE BackOffice are included, and by whichever upsells your success manager has pitched this quarter. Buyers routinely tell us they cannot answer the question "what are we paying per agent" without pulling three different invoices and a renewal quote. The lack of a transparent per-seat line is the single most common reason teams start shopping.

Rigid data model

Everything bends into Contact, Lead, and Transaction.

kvCORE models real estate around a handful of standard entities and does not let you add first-class custom objects. Teams tracking vendor relationships, referral partners, builder accounts, luxury-tier concierge services, property-management portfolios, or anything that does not fit lead-contact-listing-transaction end up stuffing data into notes and tags. The reporting falls apart the moment you need to slice by a non-standard dimension, and that happens faster than teams expect.

Thin project tooling

Transaction coordination lives on sticky notes.

kvCORE ships a transaction workflow that works for a solo agent closing eight deals a quarter. The moment the team runs twenty transactions in flight across multiple TCs with inspections, appraisals, title work, lender milestones, and vendor coordination tracked per deal, the native tooling stops scaling. Teams bolt on Trello, Monday, Asana, or a dedicated TC product, and the deal record and the project record no longer live in the same database.

SMS compliance debt

Opt-in capture and A2P 10DLC are mostly your problem.

kvCORE supports SMS as part of the bundle, but the posture on A2P 10DLC brand and campaign registration, opt-in audit trails, STOP and HELP handling at scale, and per-contact Do Not Contact flags that gate every outbound send is minimal. Teams running compliant SMS at volume end up building the compliance scaffold themselves or taking on carrier risk, and the first time a cease-and-desist notice lands the scramble is not pleasant.

Vendor lock-in

The IDX site is the trap, not the feature.

The IDX site that pulled you into kvCORE in year one is also the hardest piece to leave because the SEO equity, the saved searches, the alert subscribers, and the lead-form history are entangled with the platform. Buyers tell us the gravity of the IDX asset keeps them paying for a bundle they have otherwise outgrown. Strkr pairs with any modern IDX provider (iHomefinder, IDX Broker, Showcase IDX, Real Geeks IDX, native Zillow Tech Connect feeds) so your site is portable and your CRM is independent of the real-estate search surface.

Marketing automation feels dated

Smart Drip is powerful but the builder is a decade old.

The Smart Drip engine inside kvCORE handles the real-estate nurture motion with lender notifications, listing alerts, and behavioral triggers that are hard to find elsewhere. The problem is the builder interface. Teams coming from HubSpot, Customer.io, or any modern visual flow canvas find the kvCORE automation builder slow to configure, awkward to debug, and difficult to version. The underlying capability is there, the ergonomics are a decade behind.

What kvCORE is actually great at

Give the real-estate bundle credit where it is due.

Any honest alternatives guide starts with what the incumbent does well. kvCORE is a serious platform with real investment behind it, and if your team runs a pure real-estate motion with a single-site brokerage and an appetite for a bundled stack, it is a reasonable choice. These are the places where kvCORE genuinely outperforms Strkr today and we want you to walk in with that context before anybody drops a renewal check.

IDX website depth

A real IDX surface baked in, not bolted on.

kvCORE ships an IDX website with map search, saved listings, polygon search, school data, neighborhood pages, and lead-capture gates woven into the search flow. For a team that wants a lead-generation site that is tightly coupled to the CRM out of the box, kvCORE is one of the few platforms that treats the website as a first-class citizen rather than a bolt-on. Strkr integrates with IDX providers but we do not host an IDX surface ourselves.

Real-estate verticalization

The data model speaks MLS.

kvCORE knows what a listing is, what a transaction is, what a lender milestone looks like, and how to associate a lead with a saved search and a market report. The vertical knowledge is baked into the schema, so brokerages that run a standard real-estate motion get a lot of value out of the box without configuring custom objects or layouts. For a non-technical broker-owner, this reduces the setup burden meaningfully.

Behavioral lead scoring

Smart Numbers that factor property-search activity.

The Smart Number lead-scoring approach inside kvCORE blends CRM activity with on-site property-search behavior to surface the leads most likely to transact. The signal set is tuned for real estate: alert opens, saved-search engagement, property-view clusters, and favorites all feed the score. Any horizontal CRM has to configure this manually and the kvCORE version is tighter out of the box.

Lender co-marketing

Smart Partner workflows for lender tie-ins.

kvCORE ships a Smart Partner feature that lets brokers co-market with a preferred lender, splitting lead-form views and sharing contact data under compliant RESPA-aware constraints. For teams with a tight preferred-lender relationship, this is a real differentiator that horizontal platforms do not match. Strkr can model the relationship with custom objects and partner permissions but it is more configuration work.

Mobile broker app

The agent-facing mobile app is solid.

The kvCORE mobile app covers the agent workflow (contact lookup, call logging, text, pipeline, Smart Drip enrollment, and listing search) with a touch surface tuned for an agent working out of a car between showings. Strkr ships a solid mobile app too, but the kvCORE one has a few more years of iteration against the specific agent-on-the-go pattern.

Market reports and alerts

Automated homeowner valuation and market updates.

kvCORE sends automated market reports, home-value updates, and new-listing alerts to the past-client database on a cadence that keeps the agent top of mind without the agent lifting a finger. These are the kinds of touches that drive repeat and referral business in real estate, and the templates and triggers inside kvCORE are tuned for exactly that motion.

Brokerage-level reporting

Rollups that match how team leaders coach.

The reporting layer inside kvCORE rolls activity, GCI, deals-in-flight, and lead sources to the team and brokerage level in a format that matches how a team leader runs the Monday meeting. The reports are not deep in BI terms but they are the right reports for the role, and the agent-level accountability views are easier to point at in a huddle than a generic CRM dashboard.

Where Strkr wins vs kvCORE

Six places buyers tell us Strkr is the better buy.

If you landed on this page from a search for kvCORE alternatives, you probably already know what kvCORE is good at. The reason you are shopping is because at least one of these six gaps is costing your team money, agents, or deals. Here is where Strkr is honestly stronger and why it matters at a scaling brokerage.

Transparent flat per-seat

One pricing line, published on the page.

Strkr lists its per-seat price on the pricing page and does not move your bill mid-contract with new editions, bundle restructures, or package upsells. kvCORE is sold through brokerage bundles with pricing that moves around based on package, upsells, and renewal cycle. For a scaling team the predictability matters as much as the number itself, and we have had buyers switch purely because they could not answer "what are we paying per agent" without a quote call.

Custom objects

Model vendors, builders, referral partners natively.

Strkr ships custom objects (not just custom fields) with full support for lookup relationships, workflow triggers, custom layouts, and reporting. A luxury team tracking concierge vendors, a new-construction team managing builder accounts, a property-management arm tracking rental portfolios, or a referral team scoring partner relationships all model their business natively instead of stuffing data into contact notes. kvCORE supports custom fields on standard entities only.

Native project tooling

Transaction coordination lives with the deal.

The Projects module gives you epics, sprints, backlog, roadmap, releases, goals, custom issue types, workflow automations, and a per-project settings surface tuned for operational work. Transaction coordinators run deal checklists, inspection milestones, title work, lender followups, and vendor coordination against the same database as the CRM. kvCORE customers run a dedicated TC product and lose the handoff thread between the deal that was closed and the transaction that is being closed against it.

Native SMS and MMS compliance

A2P 10DLC, STOP handling, consent audit included.

The Messaging module ships native two-way SMS and MMS with carrier compliance built in: A2P 10DLC brand and campaign registration with carrier approval tracking, opt-in capture on inbound forms with a consent audit trail, automatic STOP and HELP response handling, and per-contact Do Not Contact flags that gate every outbound touch across the entire platform. SMS is included on every paid tier, not an upsell, and the compliance posture is the one we would want for a brokerage running a hundred-plus agents.

Modern flow builder

Visual canvas that replaces the dated Smart Drip UX.

Strkr Flows is a visual canvas with 55 plus triggers and actions, atomic state transitions, dry-run mode, failure replay, approval blocks, and A/B tests. Operators who have fought the kvCORE Smart Drip builder for years tell us the difference becomes visible within an hour of using Flows. The underlying capability of Smart Drip is strong, the ergonomics are not, and that gap compounds as the team grows and the number of automations per brokerage climbs past twenty.

IDX independence

Keep your website, change your CRM.

Strkr integrates with the major IDX providers (iHomefinder, IDX Broker, Showcase IDX, Real Geeks, Zillow Tech Connect feeds, and MLS-direct arrangements) so the lead-capture surface stays wherever it is already converting while the CRM, marketing, and operations surface moves to Strkr. Teams that have invested in SEO on their IDX site do not have to abandon that asset to escape the kvCORE bundle, which is the single biggest switching barrier buyers mention.

How the feature math actually plays out

The seven workflows that drive the switching decision.

Platform comparisons live or die on specific workflows. Here are seven real motions that come up in every kvCORE-versus-Strkr evaluation we run, with how each one actually plays out in production. These are the moments where the bundle conversation stops mattering and the shape of the tool starts mattering for a brokerage trying to scale past the first-ten-agent plateau.

Lead routing

Round-robin that respects territory, price band, and workload.

A new buyer lead arrives via the IDX site. Strkr evaluates territory, price band, agent tier, current workload, vacation status, and lender preference in a single flow and assigns the owner in under a second, then creates a first-touch task with a fifteen-minute SLA. kvCORE supports round-robin and basic distribution, but multi-criteria routing with workload balancing and conditional escalation to a team lead on no-touch at thirty minutes lives in Smart Drip extensions that are awkward to maintain.

Transaction coordination

Deal under contract triggers the full checklist.

A deal moves to Under Contract in Strkr. A flow creates a transaction project linked back to the deal, assigns the TC based on brokerage region, generates the inspection, appraisal, title, lender, and closing milestones from a template, pre-fills vendor contacts, invites co-op agents to the shared view, and starts the clock. The deal, the contact, the listing, and the project all live in the same database. kvCORE customers rebuild this in a dedicated TC product plus Zapier plus a bespoke integration, and the handoff thread gets lost at least once per quarter.

Vendor and partner tracking

Lender, title, inspector, and photographer as first-class objects.

Strkr lets you create a Vendors custom object with fields for license, insurance renewal, response time, satisfaction score, GCI contributed, and preferred-provider status. Deals reference vendors, flows notify vendors on milestone changes, and reports slice by vendor performance for the quarterly vendor review. kvCORE forces this into contact tags, which breaks the moment you need a vendor-performance report and the GCI numbers do not reconcile against the deal rollup.

SMS compliance at team volume

A2P 10DLC registration, consent capture, STOP handling.

Strkr Messaging handles the compliance pieces that regulated outreach actually requires at team volume: A2P 10DLC brand and campaign registration with carrier approval tracking, opt-in capture on inbound IDX forms with a consent audit trail, automatic STOP and HELP response handling, and per-contact Do Not Contact flags that gate every outbound touch across the entire platform. kvCORE leaves most of this to the brokerage, which works until the first carrier violation notice lands and the compliance scramble begins at the worst possible time.

Past-client nurture

Market reports, anniversary touches, home-value updates.

The Strkr Marketing module ships a past-client nurture builder with automated anniversary touches (listing anniversary, closing anniversary, birthday), market report sends on a cadence by zip, home-value update emails pulled from your IDX valuation feed, and referral-ask prompts triggered on positive post-close NPS. kvCORE handles the market-report piece well out of the box but the broader nurture surface is awkward to extend. Strkr gets you a modern builder with the same output.

Agent onboarding

New agent live on the stack in under an hour.

A new agent joins the team. Strkr spins up the user, assigns a role template, invites them to the right teams, pre-loads a starter task list, enrolls them in the agent onboarding sequence in Marketing, assigns a mentor via the project module, and surfaces the brokerage playbook from Docs. The entire onboarding runs as a flow and the agent is productive in under an hour. kvCORE handles the user provisioning piece but the onboarding orchestration tends to live in a sticky-note folder on the team lead desktop.

Internal knowledge

Playbooks, scripts, and brokerage policy in one wiki.

Strkr Docs is a Confluence-style internal wiki for scripts, listing-presentation templates, buyer-consultation playbooks, open-house checklists, brokerage policy, and vendor directory. It lives in the same workspace as the CRM, so an open-house playbook can link directly to the listing it was written for. kvCORE customers run Notion, Confluence, or a Google Drive folder separately, which is fine but creates a second surface to permission, search, and keep current across agents who are not in the office.

Where kvCORE is honestly stronger

Six places we recommend kvCORE over Strkr today.

We lose evaluations too. If any of these descriptions matches your team precisely, kvCORE is the better buy today and we would rather you know that upfront than three months into a Strkr contract. The goal of this page is to help you make the right decision, not to win a line item. Here are the six team shapes where kvCORE consistently outperforms us in head-to-head trials.

Need a bundled IDX site

You want the website and the CRM from the same vendor.

If part of what you want from a platform is a tightly coupled IDX website that your vendor owns end to end (hosting, SEO, map search, saved-search gating, listing-alert cadence, lead-capture flow) and you have no appetite for pairing a dedicated IDX provider with a separate CRM, kvCORE is a sharper tool for that specific job. Strkr integrates with every modern IDX provider but we do not host an IDX surface ourselves, and we would rather you know that before the trial starts.

Solo agent or sub-five team

Small team, standard real-estate motion, no custom objects.

For a solo agent or a sub-five-agent team running a standard real-estate motion with no need for custom objects, no project module beyond the included transaction workflow, no non-standard vendor tracking, and no messaging compliance beyond the kvCORE defaults, kvCORE is faster to stand up out of the box because the real-estate schema is pre-built. The breadth of Strkr becomes an advantage only when you need the horizontal capability, and at this size you may not. Save the switch for when the team hits that second inflection point.

Lender co-marketing is core

Your motion depends on Smart Partner RESPA tie-ins.

If your team runs a deep lender co-marketing motion where a preferred lender co-pays for marketing in exchange for lead-form visibility under RESPA-compliant constraints and the Smart Partner feature inside kvCORE is a load-bearing part of how you fund your lead gen, that specific feature is not something Strkr matches out of the box today. We can model the relationship with custom objects and partner permissions but the pre-built workflow is a real kvCORE advantage.

Pure MLS-driven motion

Every lead and every deal is MLS-sourced.

If every lead your team works comes through MLS feeds and every deal references a specific MLS listing, the pre-wired MLS integration inside kvCORE is a real advantage. The schema already knows what an MLS number is, how to pull listing photos, how to associate a saved search with a listing update, and how to send a listing-alert cadence. Strkr integrates with IDX feeds but a kvCORE workspace is pre-populated with the MLS plumbing from day one.

Established past-client email cadence

Years of market-report sends inside kvCORE.

If your team has built up years of past-client email performance data inside kvCORE with mature market-report templates, open rates benchmarked by zip, and A/B test history that your marketing coordinator relies on monthly, that history does not fully carry over. We can import contacts, segments, and campaign shells, but the historical statistics stay in kvCORE. For a team that leans on that longitudinal data daily, the switching cost is real and the right call depends on what you expect to gain.

Zero admin headcount

Nobody internal owns CRM configuration.

If there is no team-level ops person, no RevOps function, no interest in anyone owning CRM configuration for the foreseeable future, and the team is already comfortable in the kvCORE skin, the broader Strkr surface area becomes a liability rather than an asset. kvCORE is intentionally scoped to be configured by a team leader and a brokerage success manager without an internal admin. Strkr rewards investment, and if that investment is not going to happen, staying put is often the pragmatic buy.

What switching actually looks like

The six-step migration path from kvCORE to Strkr.

Switching off a bundled real-estate platform is the kind of project that can either take a long weekend or six months, and the difference is almost entirely about preparation. Here is the exact path most Strkr customers follow when they move off kvCORE, in the order they tend to run it. None of these steps requires a certified admin, and most teams complete the migration in three to four weeks of elapsed time with the IDX surface running in parallel the entire time. The pattern below has been tested against brokerage migrations ranging from six-agent teams to seventy-agent regional offices, and it holds up because the shape of a kvCORE workspace is consistent enough to templatize.

Step one

Export kvCORE data to CSV, map it to Strkr objects.

kvCORE exports contacts, leads, opportunities, saved searches, Smart Drip enrollments, custom fields, and transaction records to CSV via its native export flow (your success manager will not advertise it, but the export is there). Strkr Imports provides a CSV wizard that maps columns to standard or custom fields, handles duplicates with a merge policy, and runs a dry-run import so you see every row that would create or update before anything writes. For brokerages with more than fifty thousand records we run the import in chunks and keep both systems live in parallel for two weeks to validate conversion math.

Step two

Rebuild your Smart Drip sequences in Strkr Marketing.

Smart Drip sequences do not export cleanly to any other platform because the step logic and trigger semantics are kvCORE-specific. Rebuild them in Strkr Marketing using the visual sequence builder, which supports multi-step email plus SMS plus task cadences with pause-on-reply, business-hours gating, sender rotation, and reply classification. Most teams rebuild their core three to five nurture sequences (buyer, seller, past-client market report, lender co-market, agent onboarding) in a few hours and refine the rest as they run against live traffic. Keep both products running during this phase so you can compare open and reply rates on identical copy.

Step three

Point your IDX provider at Strkr via webhook.

Decide whether to keep the kvCORE IDX site, port to a dedicated IDX provider (iHomefinder, IDX Broker, Showcase IDX, Real Geeks), or run a bespoke MLS-direct feed. Whichever you choose, point the lead-capture webhook at the Strkr Leads endpoint and configure the mapping. New leads start creating in Strkr immediately. The kvCORE site can keep running during cutover with leads flowing to both systems for a two-week validation window.

Step four

Provision SMS numbers and run A2P 10DLC registration.

Strkr Messaging walks you through brand and campaign registration for A2P 10DLC, which is required for most outbound SMS in the US. Carrier approval typically takes three to ten business days. Numbers can be ported from your existing Bandwidth, Twilio, or kvCORE phone pool if you want to keep continuity, which matters because clients already have the number saved. Opt-in capture, STOP handling, and HELP responses are configured once per tenant and apply across every flow.

Step five

Wire up transaction coordination in the Projects module.

Build a Transaction project template with the inspection, appraisal, title, lender, closing, and post-close milestones your TC team runs today. Add custom fields for lender contact, co-op agent, title company, inspection vendor, and closing attorney. Create a flow that fires on deal Under Contract to spin up the project and pre-fill vendors from the account. Run one transaction through the new flow end to end before the next one lands. Most TCs tell us the handoff feels tighter inside two weeks.

Step six

Cut over, close the bundle, cancel the satellite tools.

This is the step buyers tell us feels like the real win. Cut the kvCORE renewal, confirm the IDX surface is stable on the new arrangement, and start canceling the satellite tools you were paying for alongside the bundle. Turn off the dedicated TC product (Projects covers it). Turn off the standalone marketing tool if you had one (Marketing covers it). Consolidate Notion into Docs if that is where your playbooks lived. Each cancellation closes the per-seat gap and most brokerages come out net cheaper than they were on kvCORE plus two or three satellite tools.

Head-to-head

Strkr vs kvCORE, feature by feature.

A side-by-side look at the eleven features that drive the most kvCORE-versus-Strkr evaluations we see. Every row reflects the state of both products as of this quarter. If a row changes materially on either side, we update the page.

Feature Strkr kvCORE
Pricing basis Flat per-seat line published on the pricing page, no bundle restructures, no feature gating that moves between contracts. Brokerage bundle pricing (varies by seat count, IDX sites, package tier, upsells like CORE Present, CORE Home, CORE BackOffice).
IDX website Integrates with iHomefinder, IDX Broker, Showcase IDX, Real Geeks, Zillow Tech Connect feeds, and MLS-direct arrangements. Does not host an IDX surface. Native IDX website included with map search, saved listings, polygon search, school data, neighborhood pages.
Custom objects Custom objects with lookup relationships, custom layouts, workflow triggers, and reporting. Model vendors, builders, referral partners, portfolios natively. Custom fields on standard entities (Contact, Lead, Listing, Transaction). No custom objects.
Projects and transaction coordination Full Projects module (epics, sprints, backlog, roadmap, releases, goals, custom issue types, per-project workflow automations). Transaction templates with milestone, vendor, and co-op agent references. Basic transaction workflow included. Teams scaling past 20 in-flight transactions integrate a dedicated TC product.
Native SMS and MMS Included on every paid tier. Native two-way SMS and MMS, A2P 10DLC brand and campaign registration with carrier approval tracking, consent capture with audit trail, STOP and HELP handling tenant-wide. SMS included in the bundle. A2P 10DLC and consent compliance posture is minimal and largely the brokerage responsibility.
Marketing automation Visual Flows builder with 55 plus triggers and actions, atomic state transitions, dry-run mode, failure replay, approval blocks, A/B tests. Smart Drip engine with real-estate-tuned triggers. Underlying capability is strong, builder UX is dated.
Lender co-marketing Modeled via custom objects and partner permissions. Flexible but requires setup. Smart Partner feature pre-built for RESPA-compliant lender co-marketing with shared lead visibility.
AI features Strkr AI handles email draft assist, call summary, next-step suggestions, forecast risk signals, and lead scoring across the full data model. AI features limited to lead scoring (Smart Number) and basic email generation. No forecast or pipeline-level AI.
Mobile parity iOS and Android apps with pipeline, deals, contacts, activities, dialer, SMS, and quick-add parity against the web experience. iOS and Android apps focused on contact, call, text, pipeline, and listing search. Deep agent-on-the-go iteration.
Document and quote generation Native Products module generates quotes and proposals, template library, approvals through Flows, e-sign via DocuSign or PandaDoc. No native quoting or proposal generation. Transaction docs flow through DocuSign, Dotloop, or Skyslope integration.
Internal knowledge base Native Docs module (Confluence-style wiki) for playbooks, scripts, brokerage policy, vendor directory, open-house checklists. Not included. Teams use Notion, Google Drive, or Confluence separately.

See Strkr side by side with your current kvCORE workspace.

Start a free Strkr trial, import a snapshot of your kvCORE data, and run both tools in parallel for three weeks. Keep your IDX site exactly where it is while you evaluate the CRM, Marketing, and Projects modules. If Strkr is not the better buy by the end of the trial, keep running kvCORE. Most brokerages decide inside the first two weeks once the broader platform clicks.

Common questions

Switching from kvCORE: what buyers ask.

Is Strkr cheaper than kvCORE?

That depends on your brokerage bundle, which upsells you have in play (CORE Present, CORE Home, CORE BackOffice), and whether you are paying for anything beyond the bundle today. kvCORE pricing is not published and varies by package, so the honest answer is that we cannot quote a comparison without seeing your current invoice. What we see consistently in head-to-head evaluations: by the time a brokerage is on a mid-tier kvCORE bundle with ten plus seats and paying for a separate TC product, a separate internal wiki, and ad-hoc compliance tooling, Strkr tends to come in meaningfully lower on total spend because those modules are included in the per-seat subscription. Run the all-in math, not the sticker comparison.

Does Strkr include an IDX website like kvCORE?

No. Strkr does not host an IDX website. We integrate with the major IDX providers (iHomefinder, IDX Broker, Showcase IDX, Real Geeks, Zillow Tech Connect feeds, and MLS-direct arrangements) and leads flow into Strkr via webhook. This is intentional. The IDX website is a specialized surface and the providers who focus on it do a better job than a generalist platform would. The upside is that your website is portable: you can change your CRM without rebuilding your site, and you can change your IDX provider without rebuilding your CRM. The bundle convenience is real, the long-term lock-in cost is also real, and we think the tradeoff tilts toward independence for a scaling brokerage.

How does Strkr handle transaction coordination compared to kvCORE?

Strkr runs transaction coordination through the Projects module. A deal moving to Under Contract fires a flow that creates a transaction project linked to the deal, generates the standard milestone list (inspection, appraisal, title, lender, closing, post-close) from a template, pre-fills vendor contacts, and starts the clock. The TC works out of the Projects module with the same database as the CRM, so vendor references, co-op agent details, and timeline updates stay in sync. kvCORE includes a basic transaction workflow that works for solo agents and small teams, but brokerages running twenty-plus in-flight transactions usually bolt on Dotloop, Skyslope, or Monday for TC and the handoff thread breaks. Strkr keeps the entire motion in one database.

What about SMS compliance (A2P 10DLC, consent capture, STOP handling)?

Strkr Messaging handles A2P 10DLC brand and campaign registration with carrier approval tracking inside the admin surface. Consent capture ships as a first-class field on contacts and leads with an audit trail of when and how consent was obtained (which IDX form, which open-house sign-in, which agent manually captured it). STOP, HELP, and START handling is automatic and tenant-wide, with per-contact Do Not Contact flags that gate every outbound send across the entire platform. kvCORE sends SMS as part of the bundle but the compliance posture around A2P 10DLC is minimal and largely left to the brokerage. For a scaling team running compliant SMS at volume this is a meaningful difference, and the carrier violation risk compounds quickly once you cross a few thousand messages per day.

Can Strkr model vendors, builders, and referral partners the way my team needs?

Yes, through custom objects. Create a Vendors object with fields for license number, insurance renewal date, response time, satisfaction score, GCI contributed, and preferred-provider status. Create a Builders object with lot inventory, upcoming launches, and pricing sheets. Create a Referral Partners object with contribution score, split arrangement, and relationship owner. Each object supports lookup relationships to deals, contacts, and listings so the data stays linked and the reports slice naturally. kvCORE forces this into contact tags or custom fields on the Contact entity, which breaks the moment you need a vendor-performance report or a partner GCI rollup.

How hard is it to migrate from kvCORE to Strkr?

Most brokerages complete the migration in three to four weeks of elapsed time with a few hours of effort per week. The steps: export kvCORE data to CSV, map it through the Strkr Imports wizard, decide on the IDX surface (keep kvCORE, port to a dedicated IDX provider, or run MLS-direct), point the lead webhook at Strkr, rebuild your top three Smart Drip sequences in Marketing, provision SMS numbers and run A2P 10DLC registration, and build the Transaction project template in the Projects module. No certified admin required. The Strkr customer success team runs a migration review call for teams of fifteen plus seats at no charge.

If kvCORE is better for the IDX bundle, when should I actually pick Strkr?

The clean decision rule we use: pick kvCORE if your brokerage is under ten seats, you want the IDX website from the same vendor as the CRM, you run a standard real-estate motion with no custom objects, you do not need project tooling beyond basic transactions, and you are comfortable with the Smart Drip builder. Pick Strkr if any one of those lines does not match. The moment you need custom objects, scaling transaction coordination, modern marketing automation, compliant SMS at team volume, an internal wiki, or transparent per-seat pricing, running Strkr paired with a best-of-breed IDX provider is cheaper and operationally simpler than running the kvCORE bundle plus two or three satellite tools wired together.
