Feature · Search Marketing Automation

A search marketing automation stack native to the CRM.

A search marketing automation stack is the pipeline from search intent to sales conversation. Strkr Marketing captures the organic or paid search lead, scores on intent, enrolls in nurture sequences, routes to sales when scored, and attributes revenue back to the search campaign.

What a search motion automates

From keyword to signed deal.

A search marketing motion has five stages: capture, score, nurture, route, attribute. Strkr Marketing automates every stage with native pieces. The sections below walk the automated stages.

Form capture

Landing page to CRM record.

Strkr Marketing forms sit on landing pages. On submit, the form writes a lead record to the CRM with the UTM parameters captured. The search campaign that produced the lead is tagged on the record for later attribution.

Intent scoring

Score the keyword, score the pages.

Each inbound lead gets a score. Branded-keyword leads score higher than top-of-funnel keywords. High-intent pages (pricing, demo request) score higher than top-of-funnel pages (blog read). The score drives the next action.

Nurture enrollment

Sequence by intent tier.

Low-intent leads enroll in a long nurture sequence. Mid-intent leads enroll in a shorter sequence. High-intent leads skip nurture and route to sales. Enrollment is a Flow trigger on the lead score.

Lead routing

Scored leads to the right rep.

When the score crosses the SQL threshold, the Flow routes the lead to the right rep by territory, segment, or round-robin. The rep gets the lead on their dashboard with the search campaign context in the first screen of the record.

Meeting booking

Scheduler on the inbound form.

High-intent inbound forms open the scheduler on submit. The lead books time directly on the rep's calendar. The meeting fires a prep flow - brief assembly, previous activity summary - before the rep walks in.

Attribution

Revenue tagged back to the campaign.

When the deal closes won, Strkr writes the signed ACV back to the campaign that produced the first-touch lead and the campaigns that touched the lead through nurture. First-touch, last-touch, and multi-touch models are available.

How the automation is built

Forms, scoring, Flows, campaigns, attribution.

The search marketing automation is a connected set of native pieces: landing pages, forms, lead-score rules, Flows, campaign records, and attribution calculations. The sections below are the mechanics.

Landing pages

Native builder, SEO-ready.

Strkr Marketing ships landing pages that render fast, SEO-correct, and brand-consistent. The builder is a drag-and-drop surface with pre-built blocks. The pages serve from Strkr's edge network.

Form library

Reusable, conditional, trackable.

Forms are reusable across pages. Conditional fields show based on previous responses. UTM parameters capture automatically on submit. The form library is managed centrally; pages reference the library.

Lead score rules

Keyword tier, page tier, behavior.

The score is a sum of rules: keyword tier (branded, high-intent, informational), page tier (pricing, demo, blog), behavior (return visits, time on page, pricing-table view). Rules are configured in the Lead Scoring surface.

Flows for routing

Score crossed, route to rep.

A Flow listens for score-crossed-threshold events and routes to the right rep. Territory, segment, round-robin, and manual overrides are all configurable. The routing audit lives on the lead record.

Campaign records

Each campaign has a record.

Every paid search campaign and organic search cluster has a campaign record. The record tracks spend, leads produced, leads converted, revenue attributed, and cost-per-acquired-customer. The record is the campaign-level dashboard.

Attribution calculation

First-touch, last-touch, multi-touch.

On closed-won, Strkr calculates attribution across the lead's touch history. First-touch gets the campaign that acquired the lead. Last-touch gets the campaign that closed the lead. Multi-touch spreads the credit by Shapley or by linear weighting.

How teams run the search motion

Content launch, campaign spend, pipeline, close.

The search motion is a cycle: ship content, spend on paid, capture leads, nurture, route, close, attribute. The sections below describe the actual workflow inside Strkr Marketing.

Content launch

Landing page plus organic article.

The marketing team launches a landing page tied to a target keyword cluster. The landing page is one piece; a cluster of supporting articles reinforces authority. Both carry forms with UTM-tracked lead capture.

Paid search spend

Google Ads tied to the landing page.

The paid search campaign targets the keyword cluster and drives traffic to the landing page. UTM parameters tag the campaign on the inbound lead. The campaign record tracks spend and conversion in Strkr.

Capture and score

Lead lands, score fires.

Within seconds of form submit, the lead is scored. Low-intent leads enroll in nurture. High-intent leads route to sales. The capture-to-score latency is a key search-motion metric.

Nurture to meeting

Sequence until engagement.

Low- and mid-intent leads work through nurture sequences. Email opens, link clicks, and return visits accumulate score. When the score crosses the SQL threshold, routing fires. The nurture is designed to produce a scored handoff.

Sales conversation

Rep opens the lead with context.

The routed lead lands on the rep's dashboard with the search campaign, the landing page, the pages viewed, and the nurture history visible on the first screen. The rep walks into the conversation with context, not a cold ask.

Attribution report

Revenue by campaign.

The monthly search attribution report pulls revenue by campaign, cost per acquisition, and ROAS. The marketing lead sees which keywords and campaigns produce closed revenue, not just closed leads.

What this replaces

The marketing automation plus CRM glue stack.

Most teams run search marketing on a separate marketing automation tool (HubSpot, Marketo, Pardot) and sync leads to the CRM. The sync is lossy. Strkr Marketing runs the search motion native. The sections below are the trade-offs.

HubSpot Marketing

Credible, bundled, double-pay for CRM.

HubSpot Marketing Hub is a credible search-motion platform. Teams on HubSpot CRM get the full bundle. Teams on another CRM pay for both HubSpot Marketing and the CRM. Strkr's Marketing is bundled with Strkr's CRM at flatter pricing.

Marketo

Deep, enterprise, costly.

Marketo is the enterprise standard for marketing automation. Depth is real; cost is a line item and the Salesforce sync adds complexity. Strkr's Marketing covers the mid-market search motion without the enterprise price.

Pardot (Salesforce)

Clean inside the Salesforce bundle.

Pardot sits inside the Salesforce ecosystem. Teams on Sales Cloud get native integration. Teams considering consolidation to one platform get the search motion on Strkr with one subscription.

ActiveCampaign

Credible, bundle creep.

ActiveCampaign serves SMB and mid-market well. The limits show at scoring sophistication, attribution, and CRM depth. Strkr covers scoring, attribution, and CRM in one platform.

DIY glue

Forms plus Zapier plus CRM.

Teams building the motion as "form plus Zapier plus CRM" save on tools and pay in brittleness. Attribution is a spreadsheet nightmare. Strkr's native motion replaces the glue.

Strkr

Native, bundled, auditable.

Search marketing automation is native in Strkr Marketing. Landing pages, forms, scoring, nurture, routing, campaigns, and attribution. The subscription covers CRM and Marketing in one platform.

The search motion native to the CRM. One subscription, one audit, one truth.

Common questions

What buyers ask about this feature.

What is search marketing automation?

Search marketing automation is the pipeline from search intent (organic or paid) to a sales conversation and a closed deal. The automation captures the lead from the search landing page, scores on keyword tier and behavior, enrolls in a nurture sequence by intent, routes to sales when scored, and attributes revenue back to the campaign. In Strkr the pipeline runs on Strkr Marketing with native landing pages, forms, scoring, Flows, and campaign records - one platform for the search motion and the CRM record.

Does Strkr Marketing include landing pages?

Yes. Strkr Marketing ships a landing page builder with drag-and-drop blocks, SEO-correct rendering, and edge-network delivery. Pages host under the tenant's domain or a Strkr-provided subdomain. Form capture is native and writes to the CRM on submit with UTM parameters tagged automatically. Teams run organic-search content and paid-search landing on the same builder, which keeps brand consistency across the search motion.

How does lead scoring work for search leads?

The score is a sum of three rule groups: keyword tier (branded-term leads score highest, high-intent terms next, informational terms lowest), page tier (pricing and demo-request pages score highest, product pages next, blog articles lowest), and behavior (return visits, time on page, pricing-table views). Rules are configured in the Lead Scoring surface. The score drives routing - low-intent to nurture, high-intent direct to sales - and the routing audit lives on the lead record.

How is attribution calculated?

On closed-won, Strkr walks the lead's touch history and attributes revenue to campaigns. Three models are available: first-touch (credit to the acquisition campaign), last-touch (credit to the closing campaign), and multi-touch (credit spread across all campaigns that touched the lead, by Shapley or linear weighting). The marketing lead picks the primary model for the monthly report. All models calculate simultaneously, so dashboards show the same lead through multiple lenses.

Can we tie campaigns to Google Ads spend?

Yes. Each campaign record tracks spend, leads produced, leads converted, revenue attributed, and cost per acquired customer. Google Ads spend can be entered manually monthly or pulled via integration. The campaign record is the campaign-level dashboard - the marketing lead sees which keywords produced revenue (not just leads) and makes bid decisions on the honest number.

Is search marketing automation included on every tier?

Strkr Marketing is a separate module bundled with the CRM. Landing pages, forms, lead scoring, Flows for routing, campaign records, and attribution calculation are included in the Marketing module. The Marketing module price scales with contact volume and sits alongside the CRM seat price. There is no separate per-landing-page or per-send charge. The Marketing module page lists the volume tiers and the full capability per tier.
